Portrait of Wesley WildmanThe keynote speaker for the 2026 conference is Wesley J. Wildman. He is a professor at Boston University, both in the School of Theology as well as the Faculty of Computing and Data Sciences.

Two of the lectures are free and open to the public:

Resilient, Reimagined, or Relegated? Challenges facing traditional religion
7:30 pm, Friday, March 6, College Mennonite Church-chapel

Shaping the Sacred? Understanding and designing spiritual experiences
10:30 am, Saturday, Koinonia room of CMC

Registered participants will:

  • Take part in the third lecture, Spiritual Journeys beyond Religion? Purpose, virtue, meaning, and belonging
  • Join the registrant-only conference sessions, including respondent reactions and discussions with the lecturer,
  • Take all meals together, including the conference banquet in an Amish home restaurant, with lively informal interaction!
  • Receive readings ahead of the conference, and access to recordings of lectures and discussions after the conference.
